Last month, we showcased our first set of traditional wedding cakes here on Wedding Feferity. This sequel features an additional 30 cakes, including the trending “Overflowing Trunk Cakes” and “Stacked Fabric Cakes”. These gorgeous cakes reflect work from Nigerian cake makers from Lagos to the US. I also featured three talented wedding cake makers based in Port-harcourt – Erny’s Cakes and Events, Snowflakes Cake Artistry and Dripples Cakes. I hope you like them.

Hi Nidia,
The luggage reference typically signifies the bride leaving her parents and moving to her husband’s. it could also represent a part of the bride price which the groom is required to present to the bride’s family which typically includes a box of clothes for the bride. I hope this helps.
Nidia R. says
Hi could you tell me the meaning of a luggage as a traditional wedding cake? As an event planner in New York, clients have asked because they don’t know and I would like to know for future reference.
I love your designs, very creative and beautiful.
Thank you very much,
Nidia R.
